Priced so you know the total before you begin.
Most of the work is sold as packages, paid in advance: no hourly meter, no surprise invoice, no pressure to keep booking. Single sessions exist too, at the full rate, so the packages are simply the cheaper way in. Every path begins with a thirty-minute intro call at €[00], and if you continue, that €[00] comes off what you book.
Counselling and coaching are generally not reimbursed by Dutch health insurance. Some employers and universities will cover career coaching: worth asking before you pay yourself. I can provide an invoice suitable for that.

Sliding scale
If the standard rate is impossible, say so.
A fixed number of places in every package are held at a reduced rate. They exist because the people most likely to need queer-affirming support are often the people least able to pay for it: students, people between permits, people who have left home without a financial safety net, people whose family support ended when they came out.

Asking costs nothing and changes nothing about how I work with you. It is a rate, not a favour.
The boring but important part.
How do I pay?
Bank transfer or iDEAL against an invoice, before the first session unless we have agreed instalments. No card details are ever handled through this website.
Why is the intro call not free?
Two reasons. A small price keeps the call an appointment rather than a maybe, for both of us. And it is credited: if you book a package afterwards, the €[00] comes off the total, so trying costs you nothing extra.
Can I book just one session?
Yes. Single sessions run at the full rate, with no commitment beyond the session itself. Packages exist because they cost less per session and because an arc of work usually goes further than a one-off, but one at a time is a completely valid way to use this.
What if I need to cancel a session?
Cancel or move a session more than 24 hours ahead and it costs nothing. Inside 24 hours it counts as used, with the obvious exceptions for illness and emergencies. The exact terms are in the agreement you get before we start.
What if I stop partway through a package?
In principle, packages are not refunded once started. A package is a commitment on both sides, and the price reflects that. In exceptional situations, such as serious illness or a major change in circumstances, we look for a fair solution together: your remaining sessions can be transferred to another person, or in some cases partially refunded. The exact terms are in the agreement you receive before we start.
Will my insurance cover this?
Usually not. Counselling and coaching sit outside the basisverzekering. Some aanvullende packages reimburse a limited number of coaching sessions, so it is worth checking your policy. Employers and universities more often cover career coaching.
